| Not taken the exam yet, but have heard that its around 40 questions and that the exam is linear and not adaptive. |

| One of the most difficult exams under the Windows 2000 track was 70-216, which focused on network infrastructure. When Windows Server 2003 came along, Microsoft updated the material and divided the content into two new exams: 70-291 and 70-293. Exam 70-293, Planning and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure is on par to the 70-216 and hence the hardest 2003 exam |

I took the exam and had about 2 hours and 40 questions.
I found the exam moderatly hard but not impossible, I would rate it easier than the 70-216 under 2000. Though I did take the 70-291 first so thats probably the best thing to do i.e. take 70-291 before 79-293 |
