Apple iPhone or Blackberry Pearl - Which is the Best Comparison

Apples new iPhone delivers mobile phone, Ipod video, and desktop class web browsing to European customers today, going on sale with the O2 network in the UK.
Certz.com takes a look at the latest tekie gadget as compared to the older favorite the Blackberry which has been a boom for their maker Research in Motion and has gone through several upgrades which has resulted in a wide variety of models including 8100g, 8700g, 7130, 8800. The blackberry pearl 8100g will be compared against the iPhone as the closest competitor.

The Iphone appeals immediately to apple lovers everywhere, priced at $399 in the US, though more than $600 elsewhere i.e. UK price is £299 ($650), it does therefore make a pretty expensive phone, so aimed at the i-pod community.

Aimed at the consumer and business user alike and competitively priced at $199. Out now for nearly a year has been a hit with the blackberry community.

Conclusion
If your after the latest gadget with a futuristic sheen then the Apple iPhone could be for you. If your after a more practical device, which is cost effective then the Blackberry Pearl could be for you.
My own personal preference is for neither of these. I would instead go for the Blackberry 8800 which features a full size querty keyboard and inbuilt GPS. Though priced at $500 to $600 are aimed at the more regular user.
